The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety and the Department of Jobs,

Tourism, Science and Innovation are two Western Australian Public Sector departments.

Employer Profile

The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) and the Department

of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) have come together to create an

award-winning interagency graduate program.

 

The 18-month graduate program aims to build the skills, experience and networks required for a successful career in the public sector. A customised rotational plan provides graduates with a range of opportunities across the public sector.

 

The work of DMIRS and JTSI is extremely varied; contributing to better outcomes for the Western Australian community.

As our two departments are so diverse in terms of our work and projects, each year we look for graduates with a range of qualifications. The graduate officer job advertisements will advise what qualifications we are looking for that particular year.
