Type of Organisation
Australian Government department
The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is a Government statutory agency responsible for planning the integrated management of the water resources of the Murray–Darling Basin.
2017 promises to be a rewarding time to develop your passion and expertise in this challenging but worthwhile field as we implement the Basin Plan which guides the management of water resources across the Basin.
In cooperation with state/territory governments, the MDBA also manages and is involved in:
joint natural resources management programs
operation of the River Murray system

Achieving a healthy, working Basin is a big job – we need influential and passionate ‘leaders of the future’ to do it.
