Over its 191 years NSW Treasury has played a significant role in shaping the history of our nation. NSW Treasury advises the NSW Government on state financial management policy and reporting, on economic conditions and on industrial relations matters. We coordinate the State Budget, manage the state's financial assets, monitor the performance of the state's commercial agencies, financial policies and industrial relations policy, monitor and review expenditure and the budgets of NSW Government agencies.
Today, with over 500 analysts, economists and advisors from all backgrounds, NSW Treasury continues to help the Government to deliver on its promises to the people of New South Wales – to make the State a great place to live and work.
