Stockland came into being in 1952 when Ervin Graf, a young Hungarian immigrant,
built a housing estate on a former poultry farm in Sefton, NSW. Nowadays, Stockland
is Australia's largest diversified property group with a real estate portfolio estimated to
be worth $15.8 billion. Headquartered in Sydney, the company owns, develops and
manages shopping centres, business parks, offices, retirement villages and residential
communities throughout Australia with a vision to "create a better way to live".
