Agricultural and Manufacturing Enterprise
We are expert in raw sugar production, market champions in sweetener products, and progressive thought leaders in the energetic pursuit of sugar as a renewable and sustainable resource. Proudly part of the Wilmar Group, Sucrogen is the largest raw sugar producer and refiner in Australia. We provide a world class agricultural export commodity and a well-known local retail sugar product (CSR and Chelsea sugar products). But that’s not the whole story.
We also produce:
• Ethanol: distilled from the sugar milling by-product molasses
• BioDundertm liquid fertiliser: created from the ethanol distillation process
• Electricity: generated from cane fibre, our electricity feeds into the Queensland power grid from our co-generation plants
