Synergy is Western Australia’s leading energy generator and retailer owned by the state government. We deliver safe and reliable energy to more than one million residential, business and industry customers, enhancing lives and contributing to the growth of our state. 

We own and operate both thermal power stations and renewable electricity generation facilities from Coral Bay in the north, to Kalgoorlie in the east, and Esperance in the South – an electricity network known as the South West Interconnected System (SWIS). 

The energy value chain is transitioning from a simple make and use system to a complex one in which customers make, trade, stores and use energy simultaneously.
