Water Corporation is the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services in Western Australia to hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses and farms, and also provide bulk water to farms for irrigation. Our services, projects and activities span over 2.6 million square kilometres.

Our Vision is the sustainable management of water services to make WA a great place to live and invest. One of our areas of focus currently is to increase the liveability of the people of WA while continuing to provide world class water and water services.

​

We have 79 Water Treatment plants, 113  Wastewater Treatment Plants, two Desalination plants across the state and one cutting-edge groundwater replenishment scheme in the metro area.

 

We employ over 2700 staff and participate in alliances to manage an asset base worth more than $15 billion. Graduates have the potential to work with alliances (partnerships with the private sector) or in a private sector company as part of a

Graduate Exchange Program.

 

We are owned by the Western Australian Government and are accountable to our sole shareholder, the Minister for Water, for delivery of our services in a commercial manner. Most of our surplus is returned to the government as a dividend to contribute to the development of the state with major infrastructure projects, with the balance reinvested into capital projects required to meet our challenges with the drying climate.
